It has been brought to my attention that the Corporation has received and is now receiving substantial amounts of funding from the European Union, in breach of Charter Provisions, and that in consequence of this very suspect arrangement the BBC is now reduced to the function of providing both broadcasting & propaganda facilities to a form of alien authority that fails to acknowledge the Supreme Authority of the British Crown.
I must advise you that all such conduct serves to breach the provisions of the Treason Act, 1351 with the further provisions of the Treason & Felony Act, 1848.
In addition, I must advise that the Treason & Felony Act of 1848 provides that it is a Criminal Offence for Subjects of the Crown to give aid or comfort to Traitors, and that this offence is punishable by imprisonment for life.
I am concerned for my own position and I must ask you to cease and desist from all treacherous conduct & financial arrangements, without delay.
Unless I receive your written assurance that the Corporation will issue an immediate public apology for all Treason committed thus far, with your further guarantee that the Corporation will cease and desist from all and any conduct that fails to maintain the Supremacy of the British Crown, then I must give fair warning of my intention to discontinue the payment of all such moneys as are now being applied to the financial support of the BBC.

NOTES FOR GUIDANCE IN RE TV LICENCE
For Use/Application When/If you receive a personal visit from a representative of the TV Licensing Authority - AND NOT BEFORE –
- You should warmly invite the representative of the Authority into your home, and conduct him/her to a comfortable chair from which he/she can easily see your television, whilst holding a cup of tea/coffee etc that you have provided.
NB. Your Visitor will be totally unaccustomed to warmth of reception &/or hospitality – and the move of making him/her entirely comfortable with you SHOULD serve to provide you with ‘The High Ground’ that is necessary for you to conduct the ongoing exercise.
PLEASE ARRANGE TO TAKE A FULL RECORDING OF ALL ONGOING CONVERSATION – HAVING ADVISED YOUR VISITOR THAT THE TAPE-MACHINE IS SWITCHED ON AND THAT THE CONTENT OF THE TAPE WILL BE PRODUCED IN EVIDENCE, AS NECESSARY. - At this point, YOU MUST TAKE A FULL COPY OF THE IDENTITY CARD THAT HE/SHE IS REQUIRED TO CARRY AT ALL TIMES, whilst explaining to him/her that you need a copy of the card for your own legal file, AND FOR ALL PURPOSES OF IDENTIFYING HIM/HER WHEN YOU ARE APPLYING TO THE COURT FOR WITNESS ORDERS.
NB. Have a Cloth available to mop up any tea or coffee that may be spilled by your visitor at this point of the proceedings! - Having obtained the required clear photo-copy of the Identity Card, then you must switch on the TV as necessary, for all purposes of ensuring that your visitor can see for himself/herself that you possess a TV Set that is fully operational.
NB. A demonstration of several different channels may be both useful & necessary, because it is unlikely that your visitor will belong to an intelligent species! - When you are satisfied that your visitor is fully aware of the fact that you are using (and have demonstrated to him/her) an operational TV set, you should then advise your visitor, as follows –
- a) The Treason & Felony Act 1848 forbids you to give Aid or Comfort to Traitors, on penalty of imprisonment for life – and this same Act provides for all accomplices to Treason to be similarly imprisoned!
Has he/she considered the great possibility that he/she is now being called upon to act as an accomplice to Treason?
You advise him/her that a Senior Official of the BBC has openly-confessed that the BBC has wilfully committed a most deliberate Act of Treason Against the Crown, and that the taped evidence of this confession now exists and will be produced to the Courts, as necessary.
In view of this information, the legal responsibility to withhold from the BBC ALL funds and ALL co-operation of any kind, is now imposed upon you, for the foreseeable future.
- b) The Royal Charter which provides for the legal existence of the BBC places the burden of responsibility for maintaining the terms of the Charter squarely on the BBC itself, both directly and by all Agents & Servants of the Corporation, including both him/her and his/her own employers – and a Senior Official of the BBC has publicly acknowledged that the terms of the Charter have NOT been maintained.
Once again, the evidence in support of your claim will be provided to the Courts, as necessary and in due time.
NB. Provide your visitor with no detailed information in re a) & b) because the burden of establishing all/any allegations made against you is a matter for him/her, and not a matter for you!
If he/she conducts a full and diligent investigation into your allegations for himself/herself, then he/she will find confirmation of your Statements for himself/herself – and will then find that he.she is unwilling to proceed against you.
On the other hand, if he/she fails to investigate your claims in full, then the evidence placed before the Courts will serve to demonstrate that he/she has failed to conduct a full and necessary investigation, before bringing the issues to trial. - Finally, and in an attempt to be helpful to him/her, you can tell him/her that investigations into the management of the BBC have revealed that the BBC has been receiving massive payments from the European Union, in breach of the funding provisions made by the Royal Charter.
You should advise your visitor that there are many other breaches to the Charter, of course, but you think it fair to bring this particular breach to his/her attention, because this particular breach represents yet another action in support of the treason against the Crown, to which you have previously referred! - He/she is already on notice that he/she is to be called as a witness at any Court Proceedings, and within your conversation you can gently make him/her aware of the fact that he/she would be very wise to investigate the substance of your allegations before things are allowed to get that far!
- All in all, your visitor should be invited to write to the BBC himself/ herself, asking for detailed comment and guidance on the points that you have made – Just to keep himself/herself on the right side of the law (by demon-strating in written form that he/she is innocent of any intended collaboration With Traitors & Criminals).
Needless to say, you would like a copy of any such letter, for your own Legal file.(He/She will refuse to provide any such copy, but the tape - Recording will serve to confirm your request). - In the meantime, you look forward to a further meeting with him/her, at which time he/she will be able to report on progress, and take the matter forward, as necessary.
(This part of the tape will serve to emphasise that YOU have no intention of running away from the fight – and that YOU are concerned to see the issues resolved!)
The issues are clearly very important to all concerned, and your visitor Must be assured of your utmost co-operation in making sure that these issues are properly and lawfully resolved.

Many people who have followed this procedure have not paid for their licence for many years, and have not been prosecuted for none payment – not even contacted by the BBC regarding future payment. If I own a TV which is not connected to an aerial, only a DVD player, would I be prosecuted for not having a license. Like many of you I've also given up watching TV. But I have a vast DVD collection comprising mainly of older british drama shows like The Sweeney. The days when TV was enjoyable or was I just a young schoolboy with rose tinted specs?

To use any television receiving equipment such as a TV set, set-top box, video or DVD recorder, computer or mobile phone to watch or record TV programmes as they are being shown on TV.
So, no you can't be prosecuted.

Auntie and the satellite
Sometime in the mid ‘90s a bloke in Pontefract was hauled into court by the government’s PR department for not having a tv licence. The accused proved that his tv set was in fact a monitor (it had been a tv set, but the tuning circuits had been removed), and was used only with a satellite receiver. The magistrates found the accused to be not guilty of an offence.
The BBC’s lawyers said that this would not be allowed to set a precedent; not very clever lawyers, clearly, because the magistrates had in fact just set the precedent!
The ABC (Australia’s “Auntie”) scrapped the licence fee years ago, and they seem to manage all right.

I have just read this with great interest as i have refused to pay my lisence for 6 months now due to the corruption, propaganda and outright lies that spew from my TV set on a regular basis. I do own TVs, I do watch them. However i refuse to pay for a dis-service to be done to me. I had wondered what the best steps to take were but as it becomes more and more obvious to me that the detection equipment is either a complete fabrication or simply not used I no longer really care. To be perfectly honest even if they could prove me to be breaching their "law" I would rather go to jail than pay for the BBC.

Above link on my saga. I refuse to pay. But then I do not own a TV. however, I also stand on my (curent) rights to totaly refuse to reply to TV Licensing's rude letters. It seems - form my research (see above link) that their detection equipment must be a sham scam! If they think I own a tv then they should stop harassing me and detect me. put up or shut up. If they cannot prove a negative ("Hey Fred ..no signal - not ever - so Dr Society cant own a TV ...right?) then they cannot prove a positve either. Lesson: just ignore them - never ever talk to them or write to them. Then what can they do?

Thank you for your letter of 19 November to Sir Michael Lyons, the BBC Chairman which reached this department on 3 December. Your correspondence has been forwarded by the Trust Unit to BBC Information for a reply on behalf of the BBC’s Executive as it concerns matters which are the responsibility of the Executive, rather than the Trust, in the first instance. The Royal Charter sets out the distinct roles and responsibilities of the Trust and the Executive. The Trust Unit provides advice and support for the BBC Trust. Every letter and email received there is read by trust unit staff. Correspondence is then either responded to by: the Chairman or Trustees; a member of the Trust Unit; or BBC Information, as appropriate. This department, BBC Information, has a wealth of knowledge about BBC programmes and policies and is experienced in the workings of the Corporation and so is authorised to reply on behalf of the BBC’s Executive.
I understand you are concerned about a breach of the BBC’s charter concerning loans from the European Union.
I’m sorry you were concerned about the BBC’s integrity.
BBC Worldwide is a separate company which operates commercially at arms length from the Corporation and is not funded in any way by licence payers. It is also important to recognise that BBC Worldwide has a loan facility with the European Investment Bank – not actual loan – and this is in line with similar agreements they have with many other banks. This is one of the ways in which BBC Worldwide funds their investment in programme rights aquired from both the BBC and from independent producers.
The agreement with the EIB does not prescribe the way in which BBC Worldwide can apply the loan, nor does it carry any editorial obligation – either regarding the EU or any other subject matter. Indeed, the EIB themselves have openly acknowledged that “public service broadcasting plays an important role…in guaranteeing objective and pluralistic information and in supplying quality programming”.
Finally, the EIB offers advantageous rates on its loans and this is good for BBC Worldwide. In turn, this is ultimately good for the licence fee payer. BBC Worldwide’s businesses include international programming distribution, TV channels, magazines, books, videos, spoken word, music DVDs, licensed product, CD-ROMs, English language teaching, videos for education and training, interactive telephony, co-production, library footage sales, magazine subscription fulfilment, exhibitions, live events, film and media monitoring. Through the sale of these products and other business activities, BBC Worldwide returned £106 million to the BBC last year which was re-invested in public service programming. This is in line with successive government objectives that the BBC should generate more of its own income in order to keep the level of the licence fee down.

Sorry to butt in, mate, - I've taken the same actions myself and had the same replies, including the property under investigation one ( I fired off a quick letter to THEM - saying thank you, i was due to go on holiday, and if they observed any suspicious persons about the property, would they please inform the police !!) - anyway - your first letter should have requested a SATISFACTORY ANSWER - which you obviously haven't had - so personally, i'd send off the second letter. DO NOT reply to any other letters! Let them visit you, if they actually will. Don't forget, they have to prove they haven't broken the charter - which they can't as the Senior BBC executive explained in the national media !!
The letter I recieved as Paul's - states in one of the paragraphs, that this has no effect on and has nothing to do with, the BBC licence fee - then says, as pauls, that it makes the fee cheaper!! --ergo - it ain't a satisfactory answer- PLUS - they haven't stopped breaking the charter - PLUS they haven't issued a public apology.

Welsh councils have warned their energy bills are set to almost double and that the price could be met by the taxpayer.
The Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA) said energy and fuel price rises means authorities will see bills go up by 100% in the next year.
It said costs will be met via energy savings, impacting on services, with the public ultimately paying the price.
See as I said, it all revolves around the public coughing up all the time.

They hit the nail on the head, charging people on the Severn Bridge, for going INTO Wales - and letting them out for free!! - - Whilst overnighting in Wales, at Cardiff Services - there were a couple or three German drivers, and two Austrian drivers. We were having a natter, as drivers do, when one of the Germans remarked on how expensive it was, to go through the tolls. I said yes, and the attendants have no sense of humour - I asked him from my cab, how much it was to walk across and he replied nothing, thats free! - So I said, - "Give us a push mate" ! !
Anyway, back to the German driver - I said, its not so expensive, when you remember that they only charge one way. He replied, - Ach Ja, - but FIFTY Euro's?? - seems they accepted euro's, but claimed they couldn't give any change !!
You may appreciate this ABSOLUTELY TRUE story, David - (and any other Welsh readers!) - I know its TRUE - it happened to ME ! ! !
It was a Bank Holiday - and I was approaching the Severn Tolls. At that time, the company had the bridge auto card in the left side of the windscreen for the reader, and the QE2 card was in the right side. At EXACTLY the same time as my cab entered the concrete dividers, the bridge toll card came unstuck from the glass, and dropped onto the dashboard, (at the passenger side). Obviously, the barrier would not go up. There was only two attendants on duty, and I explained what happened, and that I would only be a minute. It being quicker to exit the cab and go round and climb in the passenger side, I stuck the card back in the windscreen. As i passed the front of my truck again, to get into my drivers seat, - the barrier went UP ! ( It had read the card ) - and by the time I had re-started the engine, engaged gear, and let the handbrake off, the bloody thing came down again! Now, it won't open again on the same card twice - and by this time, the attendants had about 20 cars each to deal with. By the time they got round to asking me what was wrong, and I had explained it, I also had some FIFTEEN trucks behind ME! - So the attendant came out of his little kiosk - to open the barrier manually, the door swinging shut behind him, and it turned out he'd left his key in the kiosk, which he'd left the bloody latch on, and HE'd locked himself out !! AND he couldn't open my barrier !! There was also another 25/30 cars had pulled up in his lane. By the time I had walked back to the three trucks behind me and calmed them down, it turned out they would have to reverse up and let me have another run at it . .and more trucks were turning up by the minute, and I was getting farther and further away from the toll - in fact, if i carried on - I was actually getting nearer to Bristol !! . .Needless to say, it was complete chaos for some one and a half hours, and I would apologise to anyone reading this who was caught up in the great Bank Holiday Severn Bridge traffic jam!!

If BBC Worldwide defaulted on the loans from EIB would the BBC be responsible?

"...EIB offers advantageous rates...." So presumably are in a position to infuence BBC Worldwide and BBC.

I cancelled my licence last year, as I object to paying for lies, highly edited news and general rubbish.
I started to get the usual menacing letters. I then informed them that a visit was inadvisable, since this is a farm property and I would not be responsible for inspectors safety regarding rampant bulls, fierce dogs, etc. I further informed them that a visit would not in any case be required since I was declaring that I had a considerable quantity of equipment capable of receiving TV which I fully intended to retain for the purposes of repair and training, as I am a registered instructor with the RSGB.
I no longer receive any letters....

TV Licences Scam
I do not have a TV - but like so many other "innocent citizens" the TV Licensing Authority have presumed that I am breaking the law and watching TV without a licence.
For nearly 3 years they have been threatening to "detect" me with equirment.
A few months ago I wrote to them - telling them that I would not let them know whether or not I have a TV and telling them that I am too busy to waste my time talking with their "officals". I invited them to detect me - or else admit that their detection equipment does not work and is all just an empty sham.

In effect, it seems - if you stand by your (current) rights to ignore them (never speak with them) then TV Licensing can do nothing to you. They require proof for a search warrant. Their detection equipment evidence will not count as proof - because it does not work. Otherwise why would they be harassing people who actually do not have TVs - as their equipment would reliably show no-signal coming from that property- ever. if they cannot prove a negative then they cannot prove a positive either. Think about it. How dumb do they think we are?

I too do not have a TV set. My last broke about 2 years ago, and after several "I will go and buy another this weekend" type thoughts, we realised that it had been over a month since we watched anything, and decided not to bother. It was nice actually playing with the kids rather than them getting glued to more mind-numbing rubbish.
I stopped paying for the licence, and promptly received a telephone call, informed them that I no longer had a TV and the date that it broke and recieved a refund. Two weeks later I started to recieve ever more threatening letters telling me that an 'officer' would be round to check and that I would be fined etc....
I haven't had anything since I moved house 6 months ago, but then, my name and address NEVER appear on anything official any longer. I was fed up with being chased by this government for tax credit overpayments (I had never, ever, claimed tax credits and I don't even know what they are), TV licence for a TV that I don't own, parking fines for a car I don't own etc... etc.... the list goes on and on.
It's far easier to live 'outside the system' than you might think, and your life gets a hell of a lot easier (apart from being able to pay for things on-line - with no bank account, this is pretty tricky, but it's the only difficulty I have found so far).

I just wanted to endorse that comment. It helps to let go of all personal opinions and determine what is real and what isn't and what is viable and of value. The BBC licence is a hoax, this is not a BBC payment.
Although I stopped paying the licence fee years ago, from what I had determined evidentially it would be unlawful to pay this fee. I wish peole knew what that box of tricks called a tv can do to people and what it has done and is doing to people. I don't have a television however I did have one at the time I cancelled and did have a visit. From the conversation we had they would not have visited again even if I had a television and watched it in the high street, the whole system relies on people's ignorance.

I cancelled my licence as we do not watch TV anymore at all because of the reasons already acknowledged in other postings. I received a refund. A couple of months later I received a letter addressed to 'The Present Occupier' stating that failure to respond by a certain date would ensure that my details would be passed to their Enforcement Division. My reply was to thank them for their offer and ask, if I responded to any of the questions or comments, would I have entered into a contract with them.
A month later I received the follow-up letter stating that officers are likely to call at my home, totally ignoring the comments in my letter. If they do call, I will repeat what I said in my letter to them. I am also going to answer this latest letter by asking them under what authority their enforcement officers work.

This is a surprise! Whatever I was expecting, it certainly wasn't this!
Anyone can see that of recent months the BBC has changed. It's News has been dumbed down almost to the point of banality. It's programmes are utter rubbish, pandering to the "Lowest Common Denominator".
It's now "Tabloid Television" for those with the attention span of a knat. A great artical, John, one that desrves to be placed well and truly in the Public Domain.

Good post, Sandie - we can see them 'letting it all hang out' on Saturday night tv BBC1 and ITV in a frenzy of 'joy' for the visual dross that's being served up for them, high-clapping and woo-hooing: what fools they are.
TV Licences
Brian, thanks for your reply. Saturday Evening television on both the BBC and ITV is not worth wasting precious electricity on. If I want a break from my computer on a Saturday evening, then I will watch a couple of videos instead. Much more entertaining and edifying.Regards, Sandie.
BBC trap
I am weary whether this site is just something placed by the bbc, to catch people not paying their licence. If this comment is posted it will be a little bit more proof to me that this is actually the truth, as opposed to some nonesense in the hopes of making more money, because to be honest, you can get a years cable or sky for the price of a tv license and opt for the channels to be blocked.

I've stopped my licence fee - and after some pre-ambles, I've today received my notice that my property is under investigation. So I've written back, and asked them nicely to report any suspicious persons they see on the stakeout !
I'm also on sky at the moment. - It dosn't matter if you opt for the other channels to be blocked - the bbc will still want the lics money, as you have a set that IS CAPABLE OF RECEIVING.
As for this site being a bbc entrapment site - you obviously haven't looked around the site!
