Mass Emails.

Spoke with John on the landline this afternoon, and we decieded that the best idea would be to send out a "Mass Email shot to all of our excisting Members of the Old Forum. This, has been done, and already I am recieving replies from Members who were not aware of the big change over.

This has been done to cater for the immense mass of traffic and hopefully, New Members which our Organisation will be generating in the not too distant future. Thanks for your continuing interest in our Organisation and our New Web Site and Forum.

Please use it, it's yours. We are here to help you.

Election Fiasco.

So, Gordon Brown, our unelected Prime Minister has decieded not to hold a General Election yet. And this at a time when the media was almost wetting it's collective self with excitement too. Shame!  I'll have to wait that bit longer to see Peter Snow getting all worked up with his Swingometer. Oh, doesn't he do that anymore? Of course, it's all done by computer graphics these days, a mock-up of the House of Commons with all it's empty seats coloured Red, Blue, and Orange, with a shade of netural Grey for the "Others".

On the strength of an ad hoc speech by Tory Leader David Cameron, in which he spoke without any script for over an hour at the Tory Party Conference last week. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember people like Margaret Thatcher, or Harold Wilson, or even dear old Winnie Churchill, ever reading their speeches? I always thought that they knew enough about their chosen subject to rant on and on for ever without referral to notes or autocue?

In fact, Winston Churchill and Harold Wilson wouldn't have ever had the 'luxury' of having an autocue, because I don't think they'd been invented then, had they?

No, "Spin" and such like first became "fashionable" with Tony Bliar, Britains' first "Television Star" Prime Minister.

At least, Tony was charismatic, whatever you may have thought about him and his policies, he made you almost trust and believe in him. He came over all smiles, flashing teeth, and exfoliated skin, and the Sheeple just flocked to him. The only real time he was vilified was over the Illegal War in Iraq, then, the Sheeple realised that some of the flock were getting slaughtered, for a war that none of them believed in. This actually made them start bleating, and questioning the real reasons behind the carnage. Every day, scores or hundreds of people are being needlessly killed in that country, which, despite what they would have you believe, is virtually in a state of Civil War between the different Muslim Factors, and the poor U.K. and U.S. soldiers are getting caught up in the middle. Both sides hate the invaders, (as they rightly regard us), more than each other, therefore, our troops are in a no-win situation.

If Brown want's to gain the Sheeples' trust, then a token gesture of pulling out 1000 troops, won't be enough. He needs to get ALL our Troops out, NOW!

Actually, I have mixed feelings about the Election descision. One the one hand, I'm pleased, because it gives newly formed Parties like the "New Party" and the "TPUC" more time to prepare and fundraise. On the other, it means that we will see a further progression into a descent into Police State Control, with I.D. Cards, Personal Databases, and more and more Policing on the cheap with Spot Fines, (which are illegal), petty restrictions, and a general erosion of our Civil Liberties.

Regards, Sandie.
