Example of poor policing
This police officer is claiming that he was being caused 'Alarm' 'Harrassment' and 'Distress' by an individual filming him? The individual then being arrested under section 5 of the 'whatever' Act.... Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't an office with such a sensitive disposition be looking after potted plants somewhere? I have come across female police officers who really get quite shirty when you challenge them... I think they have a bit of a power thing going on. They will often wind their male police officer colleagues up to a point where they then over react - this is a good example. This male officer was put in a position where he felt his authority was being challenged (it wasn't) and she was trying to make a case where no case could be made... they should have backed off. Poor result for the police.
Most police officers would have handled this very differently and of course the police should not be judged on this example, most would have smiled and left him to his innocent protest.
